Anxious, Nervous, worried, everything's in a hurry.
Sometimes life is like an ocean.. it can be peaceful, or it can be a tsunami
Or a whirlpool that either sucks you into this swirling self-esteem buster.
It can ruin and crush your whole day.
Life is cold, but you have to be HOT

I Am

I am "odd and special."
I wonder when the paradise
will get here.
I hear confusion in my life.
I see my life being ruined
by others.
I want freedom.
I am "odd and special."

I pretend to be stable.
I feel the world's weight
on my shoulders.
I touch my heart and it burns with red hot fire every day.
I worry that it won't go away.
I cry because I know it won't.
I am "odd and special."

Silence

An Essay

In early days there was a myth about a Queen in the sky. The Queen in the sky ruled the earth. She lived on
the moon where she could see all of the land beneath her. She wore a beautiful crown with diamonds placed
all around it. On the top of her crown there was a single star. The Queen who ruled the earth was very elegant.
Each day she wore a deep purple dress with tiny diamonds placed in them. She ruled the earth with a wand.
Some people say she was much like a magician. At the end of each day she would create a beautiful sunset
with deep purples and dark pinks dancing across the sky. She would highlight the clouds with those colors.
Each night she would place the stars one after another in exquisite patterns along the sky. All of the earth was
amazed at what she created and how she ruled. They were so amazed at her that they sent a single pigeon
up and into the sky with a message on it's leg. It read, "To the majestic ruler of the earth: All of your people
and creations want to thank you for all of your kindness and generosity towards us. We have deep gratitude
for you."

Spence and Kurt

Spence got a new dog. His name is Kurt. The dog was just like Spence. When Spence is sad Kurt is sad
and when Kurt is mad Spence is mad. Kurt got very sick and Spence did not know what to do. So Spence
called the vet. The vet said, "I'll be there in a jiffy." Spence and Kurt waited for about ten minutes. When the
vet came they gave Kurt medicine. Spence got sick too. The doctor came and gave Spence medicine too.
Spence and Kurt were doing just fine, well sort of. Spence got mad, so did Kurt, just because Spence's dad
left without him plus Kurt did not get Kibble! Later that day Spence's dad came back for him and Kurt got
Kibble! Spence and Kurt were happy for once! Spence's mom talked about three steps of how to calm down.
1. Take Deep Breaths
2. Count to Ten
3. Ride your Bike
Spence went fishing with Dad. Spence got mad because he could not bring Kurt, so Spence almost threw
his fishing pole into the sea. So he remembered the first step, take deep breaths. After that he felt very calm
and stable. Spence was going to get a new football hat. It has the Dolphin logo on it. It had a white rim and
the dolphin is gray and the hat is green. Spence was so hyper! He almost destroyed the store but he
remembered step 2, count to ten. So he did. He calmed down. Spence and Kurt got very sad. They
remembered number 3, ride your bike. So Spence rode his bike and after that Spence felt very happy.
Spence broke his bike. He was Mad, Mad, Mad! So he had to go to the doctor. The doc said to take his
meds every day! The next day his dad fixed the bike. Spence was very happy. The next day Spence took his
meds like the doc told Spence, so did Kurt. The doc was happy, his dad and mom were very happy! Spence
was happy so was Kurt!
